Nas’ tenth studio album - Life Is Good - provided hip-hop culture with another outstanding body of work.
God’s Son “resurrected the art of story telling," our music editor Brittany Lewis said in her review of the album. “[It’s] exactly what the culture needed – a breath of fresh air… when [Nas’s] life is good, our hip-hop is good.”
The GlobalGrind team emphatically cosigned – but the music wasn’t the only thing that caught our attention.
Aside from the 18-track release, we couldn’t help but notice how GOOD Nas has been looking as of late.
He’s obviously older now and carries a more mature physique and face, however not much as changed since the release of his 1994 classic Illmatic.
He’s still got those signature boyish good looks, wrinkle-free, smooth brown skin and killer smile.
Clearly, life is really be good for the Queensbridge emcee.
However, nasty Nas isn’t the only rapper that has managed to stand the test of time.
Nas said it best: “Twenty years in the game, lookin’ seventeen.”
