Drake isn’t the first rapper to want to say goodbye!

Other emcees like Jay-Z, Eminem, T.I., and his YMCMB predecessor Lil Wayne have given thought to the notion.

But Drizzy may be the first to contemplate retirement at the age of 30. At 25, he’s still too young to be feeling this old!

He voices his doubt about further continuing music past his twenties in i-D magazine saying:

“I personally think that when I find that person and when it is established that we’re gonna enter a serious relationship-I mean I don’t even know if I’ll still be making Rap music. I don’t know how long I necessarily want to make Rap music for.”

It makes sense that Drake would give up making his hip-hop love songs for actual love.

The Take Care rapper also added:

“You know, there are artists who are thirty-five and up that still make Rap and that still works for them. I don’t know if I want to be that guy. A lot of my music is about being young and figuring it all out. I don’t know if I can still make my brand of music when I’m up there. Maybe I’ll be just acting or whatever it is.”

Hopefully Hov can convince him 30 is the new 20, and Drake gives fans another 10 years after he hits that threshold.
