Somebody help! Justin Bieber is drowning!
Don't worry, Beliebers, not in real life, but in the footage we’ve seen for his “Boyfriend” video, the smash first single off his sophomore album, Believe.
No, the official video hasn't been released yet, but Bieber has been dropping hints on where he’s headed with the video.
The pop star just dropped a quick 20-second teaser for the video that's quite cryptic. In it, we see an unconscious Bieber floating in deep water. That scene then cuts to the pop star, hooded up, staring at burning fire. The clip is mysterious and tells us the video isn't going the typical guy-meets-girl-in-the-club-and-then-starts-dancing route.
While we wait for Bieber to officially drop the video, chew on the numbers that the record-setting single is setting.
In its first week of release, “Boyfriend” was downloaded 400,000 times. The single was also played a whopping 961 times in its first week on 129 of the 134 total reporting stations.
Bieber fever isn’t going anywhere!
