The coolest music festival is heading out the sea! Coachella Music Festival teased an official announcement earlier this week, and rumors from pre-sale tickets to a Coachella cruise swirled on the internet. 

Coachella organizers confirmed the most prominent rumor and announced the festival is heading out to sea on the S.S. Coachella. 

The music festival at sea will take place this winter, December to be exact. The S.S. Coachella has two official cruises, one heading for the Bahamas and the other heading to Jamaica. 

The S.S. Coachella has enlisted the talents of Pulp and Hot Chip to headline the at sea festival, while smaller acts like Sleigh Bells, Yeasayer, and Girl Talk will also join the festival's festivities.

The first stop on the S.S. Coachella is a four-day/three-night cruise to the Bahamas on December 16-19.

The S.S. Coachella will also be heading to Jamaica for the same amount of time on December 19-23.

If you're down for a music festival at sea, the S.S. Coachella tickets go on sale this Saturday, 10 p.m. PST.
