It's All Love! Stevie Wonder Apologizes For Frank Ocean Statement (DETAILS)

Posted September 2, 2012 by Evanka Williamson for Global Grind Staff

This past week, when asked about Frank Ocean, Stevie Wonder was quoted in the Guardian replying, "I think honestly, some people who think they're gay, they're confused."

That didn't sit well with most people and it appears the R&B legend also had a change of heart on the manner as he quickly issued an apology for his statement.

He told The Advocate:

"I’m sorry that my words about anyone feeling confused about their love were misunderstood. No one has been a greater advocate for the power of love in this world than I; both in my life and in my music. Clearly, love is love, between a man and a woman, a woman and a man, a woman and a woman and a man and a man. What I’m not confused about is the world needing much more love, no hate, no prejudice, no bigotry and more unity, peace and understanding. Period."

Well, we're happy to see Stevie has cleared that up. We wouldn't want any R&B beef brewing. Love is love!
