The soda wars continue.

Late last year, Pepsi announced a huge sponsorship deal with Beyonce. Now, Pepsi rival Coke has their own big deal: The soda conglomerate will be getting into the Taylor Swift business.

Taylor revealed the news first in a video message directed towards her fans. 

Rocking a bright Coke-red sweater, Taylor, forever the tease, looked to the camera and said:

“I wanted to share some news with you, because we’re finally making it official with one of the great loves of my life…Diet Coke.”

Taylor then went on to explain what kind of work she’ll do with the soda conglomerate:

“We’ve been in conversations about this partnership. It’s gonna include so many fun things having to do with the tour, having to do with Diet Coke in general, a behind-the-scenes of the commercial…I really can’t wait to begin all this, and it’s going to be an extraordinary ride.”

There are no financial terms out there yet, but you have to wonder if her deal will rival Bey’s $50 million dollar Pepsi come-up.

Who knows? All we know is the soda wars are very real on these unhealthy streets.
