Who said deaf people don’t listen to music?

SNEAK PEEK: Taylor Swift “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together”

Country pop star Taylor Swift may be performing for the nation’s oldest deaf school due to an internet prank.

It seems a little ill-willed, but since the students aren’t visually impaired it may be a great experience to see America’s sweetheart in action.

Taylor Swift joined Papa John’s and textbook company Chegg for a new promotion where fans vote for the school they would like to see the “You Belong To Me” singer perform.

The school that won in the online contest is a deaf school, and contest organizers are beginning to suspect Taylor Swift and the contest outcome are the result of a prank.

Taylor Swift isn’t the first celebrity to be “pranked” on an internet voting contest. In a Wal-Mart internet contest, Miami rapper Pitbull was sent to perform at a Wal-Mart at the small remote town of Kodiak, Alaska.

With only a population of about 6,100, Pitbull brought his “International Love” and enthusiasm despite performing for a fraction of his normal audience.

Should Taylor Swift still perform at a school for the deaf?
