THE KNOWING! The Weeknd's "Trilogy" Expected To Sell 100K Its First Week (DETAILS)

Posted November 15, 2012 by Brittany Lewis for Global Grind Staff

It's almost been a full year since The Weeknd released his last mixtape, Echoes Of Silence, and after much anticipation, the Toronto R&B singer's debut album finally hit store shelves.

NEW MUSIC: The Weeknd "Till Dawn (Here Comes The Sun)"

Although his album isn't comprised of entirely brand new material, Trilogy is The Weeknd's formal entrance into the industry.

Trilogy features the "Coming Down" singer's three acclaimed mixtapes, House of Balloons, Thursday, and Echoes of Silence, which have been remastered and edited for debut.

NEW MUSIC: The Weeknd "Twenty Eight"

Trilogy also features three new tracks, "Valerie," "Twenty Eight," and "Till Dawn (Here Comes The Sun)."

Despite featuring material that millions of fans and critics have heard, Trilogy is projected to sell anywhere between 95 -105k in its first week.

Not bad considering most of us have heard 27 out of the 30 tracks on his project.

The Weeknd's major label debut, Trilogy, is available at a music retailer near you.
