Australian rapper Iggy Azalea is getting a little guidance from rapper T.I. on her debut album The New Classic.
It wasn’t long ago when we first noticed Iggy Azalea’s “Pu$$y” video, and now she’s working on her debut album.
After inking a deal with Jimmy Iovine’s Interscope label, Iggy’s keeping up the momentum by getting a little assistance from “The King Of The South.”

Iggy Azalea stopped by MTV and revealed that T.I. will be executive producing her new album:
“T.I.’s gonna be helping me with it, kind of A&R-ing, kind of executive producing,” Azalea said. “He called me up like, ‘Please?’ and I was like, ‘Definitely. You’re Tip; I love you — of course.’ So he’s gonna be helping me out, just reaching out to people and helping me find production and pointing me in the direction of things that I might like.”
Damn, Iggy isn’t playing any games out here in these streets. She’s super talented, so we only expect her to be working with the best, and clearly T.I. is a king.
Iggy’s forthcoming album The New Classic is set to be released in June 2012.
