Thank heavens!

After Aaliyah and Drake’s collaboration, “Enough Said,” hit the ‘net over the weekend, many diehard Aaliyah fans were wondering where Timbaland stood on the song.

NEW MUSIC: Aaliyah & Drake “Enough Said”

The controversy began last week when Timbaland revealed to Power 105’s The Breakfast Club that he wasn’t involved on the Aaliyah posthumous project that Drake was allegedly executive producing.

Timbaland boldly stated that Drake shouldn’t do anything involving Aaliyah without the input of him and long time friend Missy Elliott.

Most of Aaliyah’s fans took Timbaland’s side in the Aaliyah project debate, but it seems the tides are turning and Timbaland may be getting on board for Aaliyah’s posthumous album.

MissInfo received exclusive information stating that Timbaland will indeed produce songs on Aaliyah’s posthumous album.

Details: Timbaland Says Drake Shouldn’t Do An Aaliyah Record Without Him Or Missy Elliott

Timbaland began working with Aaliyah after her debut album, Age Ain’t Nothing But A Number, and is responsible for producing most of Aaliyah’s greatest hits.

According to sources, Timbaland will be producing two songs on the project. There’s still no word on Missy’s input just yet, but fans can probably bet on Missy Misdemeanor hopping on a few tracks as well.

Just when fans were thinking this new project was going to be all about Aaliyah and Drake, Timbaland comes through to save the day.

Are you glad to hear that Timbaland will play a part in Aaliyah’s new project?
