The 20-year-old singer, who has already drawn comparisons to the late Aaliyah, kicks off the video staring stoically at past due bills that soon burn to ashes as she hurls them into a fireplace.
While Tinashe dances, words like “I will not be a slave” can be seen grafittied in the background, as well as “Riches” with an arrow pointing to “Paper,” ironically denoting how people are unknowingly slaves; slaves to the necessity of money.

This video is all about conveying a message, and even though Tinashe is seen driving an Audi, she quickly runs away from it, as if she’s trying to distance herself from what it represents.
As far as the question: “Who Am I Working For?” the ending says it all.
