TNT's Saturday Morning Special: Top 5 Tracks Of The Week (NEW MUSIC)

Posted March 30, 2012 by Brandon TNT West

Meek Mill is getting nicer and fresher than most of you MCs, and his sneakers got blood on em. Did I just confuse you like Geraldo Rivera's "hoodie" statement? Listen to Meek's new track “I'm Rollin,” and you will get it. It’s another spitfire, swaged-out 32-bar rap over a quick hit 808 drum and a trunk-rattling baseline. Just like Drake's “The Motto,” the beat on “I'm Rollin” is that new, fresh Cali sound that has kids “jerkin” and doing multiple other dances from The Bay to LA. Meek Mill's rhyme style is so Philly. Like the legendary fighter Joe Frazier, Meek's tough wordplay and verbal dexterity slap-boxes any track he chooses to spar — raps backward! — into submission.
