TNT's Saturday Morning Special: Top 5 Tracks Of The Week (NEW MUSIC)

Freedom ain't free. Just ask Lupe Fiasco. This week he put out his newest single titled "Around My Way" and drew the wrath of legendary producer Pete Rock. Producers Simonsayz and B Side sampled and updated the same Tom Scott loop from the song "Today" that Pete Rock and CL Smooth made famous in their classic "They Reminisce Over You (T.R.O.Y.)." 

Pete didn't take too kindly to this but "c'mon son." Pete you're my man, and you definitely know it's not unheard for another producer to re-sample a popular loop and put his twist on it. All-in-all the record is another fine example of Fiasco's visionary and revolutionary wordplay.
