Toronto-based singer The Weeknd is probably the most heard of the unheard R&B singers in the land of music.

Characterized by his alluring elusiveness, melodic voice and airy falsetto, The Weeknd is the best up and coming new artist out right now.

A lot of buzz has been surrounding his much-awaited and highly sought after mixtapes Thursday and Echoes Of Silence.

The Weeknd, who has been closely connected with rapper Drake, finally gave his fans what they've been waiting for.

In a packed house of screaming fans, The Weeknd performed hit after hit at Toronto's Mod Club.

The Weeknd is set to hit the stage alongside his good friend Drake and rapper Rick Ross on July 31.
