Believe it or not, neo-soul singer Angie Stone was known as MC Angie B back in the day! The Sequence was first female rap group on the legendary Sugar Hill Records. Along with MC Angie B, the South Carolina born group consisted of MC Blondie and Cheryl the Pearl. The Sequence is most known for their 1979 single, "Funk You Up."
