STORY: BREAKING NEWS: Macho Man Randy Savage Dead

Macho Man was a staple on the 1980s and 1990s wrestling scene, his demise reminds us of other fallen wrestling superstars who jumped from the top rope to deliver a stunning blow.

Wrestlers like Mr. Perfect and Earthquake made the sport popular in the ’80s and ’90s and helped shape what it is today. They paved the way for the current superstars we watch on television.

We salute the wrestlers we grew up with and remember them on the next pages.
