Plot Line: As the manhunt widens for Florida exotic dancer and her two brothers on the wrong side of the law, authorities warn they’re heavily armed and not afraid to fire.

Officers have ramped up the search for Lee-Grace Dougherty, 29, Dylan Dougherty Stanley, 26, and Ryan Dougherty, 21, after they were spotted in Tennessee following a bank heist.

Contenders: Democrats vs. Republicans

Match: Democrats won two Wisconsin state Senate seats in Tuesday’s dramatic recall elections, but they fell short of the three needed to take the majority away from Republicans.

Six incumbent GOP state senators were forced to defend their seats on Tuesday in historic recall elections. The efforts to change the makeup of the state Senate came after Republicans passed Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker’s (R) controversial measure stripping public employees of their collective bargaining rights.

What Happened: An estimated $800 million worth of marijuana has been seized following a massive raid on illegal grows on public lands deep in Northern California’s pot country, authorities said Tuesday.

The three-week effort, known as Operation Full Court Press, to purge the Mendocino National Forest of illegal gardens, seized more than 632,000 marijuana plants. The operation also led to 132 people being arrested as 118 were booked on federal and state charges and 14 were detained on immigration violations.

How They Hustled: At the end of regular trading Tuesday, Exxon was again the most valuable company. Apple’s market cap was $346.74 billion vs. Exxon’s $348.32 billion.

In 1996, Apple Computer, the venerable founder of the personal computer, was struggling to stay afloat.

Now, 15 years later, Apple is the most valuable company in the world in terms of market capitalization.
