Dexter Issac's recent confession about the alleged events that took place on the night of November 30, 1994 has 2Pac's name all over the news again. But this time a deeper level is coming to light that may have been behind the events of that night. The media created what was known at the time as the East Coast/ West Coast beef. They made it seem like it was Biggie vs. Pac or Puff vs. Suge. What the media didn't know was the role the streets played in this new 'get rich hip-hop music industry.'
The events of that night would serve as the back drop for many of 2Pac's songs that came after. The events of the night may also lead to the details of 2Pac's murder. For those of you who forgot, were to young to know or dare I say, weren't even born yet, here are the details:
-2Pac was shot 5 times in what the media called a robbery at Quad Studios in Time Square NYC at 12:20 am on November 30, 1994. $40,000 worth of jewelry was taken.
-During the robbery, Pac and his manager where shot. Another victim, Randy Stretch Walker, was left unharmed. Stretch was murdered a year to the day after the robbery in a high speed chase in which he was shot multiple times before crashing and flipping his vehicle.
-When Pac was walking up to Quad, he mentioned seeing Lil Cease calling out to him from a window above that was in the studio. So he knew Biggie was there. When Pac saw 3 individuals in the lobby of the studio, all dressed in fatigues, he wasn't alarmed because he figured they were B.I.G.'s security. Pac, his manager, Stretch and another man were followed to the elevators where the robbery took place.
