Wendi Murdoch is the wife of Rupert Murdoch, the billionaire media mogul of News Corp who went before the British Parliament committee today to answer questions about the phone hacking scandal that has made worldwide headlines.

Wendi was the woman sitting directly behind Murdoch as he was grilled by the Members of Parliament. Wendi was born in Jinan, Shandong, a Province located on the eastern coast of China.

In 1997 Deng met Rupert Murdoch at a company party in Hong Kong and they were married two years later. The couple has two daughters Grace Helen Murdoch, born 2001 and Chloe Murdoch born 2005.

Deng is pro-vegan and a supporter of President Obama, in fact, she attended the White House State dinner back in January.
