There's a mad man on the loose.
Briana Rodgers, 13, had been identified as the body of a teen killed in a weekend shooting in Dayton, Ohio. The gunman, 29-year-old Dameon Wesley, is still on the loose.
Along with Rodgers was a second victim. The victim has not been identified and was reportedly taken to Miami Valley Hospital. According to police the victim was "fighting to survive." There have been no updates of the victim's current condition.
Wesley is considered to be armed and dangerous and is no stranger to crime. He was recently released on parole after serving twenty years for murder. Police are asking for the public's help to apprehend the suspect. Describing Wesley as a approximately 6"3" and 550 pound man driving a tan 1994 Chevrolet, the community is urged to called 911 immediately if Wesley is seen.
Our condolences are extended to the loved ones of Briana Rodgers and our prayers are with the victim currently hospitalized.
If you see something, say something. Help bring Briana's murderer to justice.
