Tragedy hit the world of Hip Hop when it was reported that Chris Kelly of Kris Kross was found unresponsive Wednesday and now the audio of the 9-1-1 call from the discovery of the rapper’s body has been released.

The caller appears to be Chris’ mother, but it’s not entirely clear.
During the 911 call, the caller tells the dispatcher that Chris is not breathing. The dispatcher then walks her through instructions on how to resuscitate him.
Arrangements for Chris’ funeral have been planned for next week in Atlanta.
Murray Brothers Funeral Home in Atlanta confirmed Saturday that it will hold a public viewing for Kelly throughout the afternoon and evening Wednesday and a funeral service has been scheduled for Thursday at Jackson Memorial Baptist Church.
As we have reported, Chris’ mother told authorities that her son had taken a combination of heroin and cocaine the day before he died and that he had an “extensive history of drug use.”
