After the tragic murder of 17-year old Trayvon Martin by neighborhood watch George Zimmerman many communities have expressed complete outrage.
The outrage has been in response to the fact there has yet to be an arrest of Zimmerman. Those within the Trayvon Martin movement insist that had Trayvon been a white minor, an arrest would have already been made.
People from all races, ethnicities, and backgrounds have unified and rallied demanding that justice be brought to Zimmerman.
According to the Miami New Times, armed Neo-Nazi groups in Florida are patrolling Sanford, Florida. The group has desperately found a way to make this a discussion of racial hatred saying they are "prepared" for violence if race riots ensue.
As reported by the Miami New Times:
The patrols are to protect "white citizens in the area who are concerned for their safety" in the wake of the Trayvon Martin shooting last month, says Commander Jeff Schoep of the National Socialist Movement. "We are not advocating any type of violence or attacks on anybody, but we are prepared for it," he says. "We are not the type of white people who are going to be walked all over."
Schoep then went on to take a shot at Reverend Al Sharpton's participation in Trayvon Martin events saying:
"Whenever there is one of these racially charged events, Al Sharpton goes wherever blacks need him. We do similar things. We are a white civil rights organization."
It's bewildering to see Schoep compare Neo-Nazi groups to a civil rights organization.
The fight for justice continues...
