Even in the light of recent events that led to the demise of her son, Trayvon Martin's mother refuses to resort to anger to cope with her loss, and encourages others to do the same.

Trayvon's mother, Sybrina Fulton, in an interview with the Huffington Post's Rabbi Schmuley Boteach, reminded us why we should escape anger and instead demand justice saying:
I have no time for anger. I don't want to grant it a place in my heart. I simply want justice. I don't hate him and I'm not angry at him. But my son died and we deserve to know what happened. It's not for the police to determine justice. It's for the courts. And we'll stand by what the court says. But that's what I'm focused on. We want an arrest. But it's not out of anger or hatred. I have too much to do to be sidetracked with any of that. But when your son dies and there isn't even an arrest, it makes it so much harder.
Rabbi Boteach reminded us that Sybrina spoke to "passion" and "deep conviction."
Sybrina's words should remind everywhere that this movement is bigger than race and anger. It is about justice.
It has been nearly a month since the tragic murder 17-year old Trayvon Martin by Sanford, Florida neighborhood watch George Zimmerman.

Despite intense national outrage expressed through protests and rallies, an arrest of Zimmerman has yet to be made. On February 26th, 2010, Zimmerman followed Trayvon for looking suspicious despite being told by a 911 dispatcher not to.
When approached by Zimmerman, Trayvon asked why he was being followed. The two engaged in a scuffle, resulting in Trayvon's death after being shot in the chest.
