Allen Iverson is in some hot water with an Atlanta family court judge after having his divorce to Tawanna Iverson finalized this past year.
According to TMZ, the judge decided that Iverson was not a fit parent, and stated his complaints about the ex-NBA player in the final divorce decree.
The document said:
"[Iverson] does not know how to manage the children; has little interest in learning to manage the children and has actually, at times, been a hindrance to their spiritual and emotional growth and development.
For example, he has refused to attend to an obvious and serious alcohol problem, which has caused him to do inappropriate things in the presence of the children while impaired.
He has left the children alone without supervision. He has left his young daughters in a hotel room with men who are unknown to the mother."
The site reports that Allen has some visitation rights to his kids, but Tawanna has gained legal and physical custody of them for now.
According to the agreement, he not allowed to drink any alcoholic substance for 18 months, and apparently can't drink alcohol within 24 hours of seeing his children until they're 18 years old.
Hopefully Allen gets the help that he needs in order to provide for his family in the best way possible.
We wish him the best!
