WTF! Couple Held At Gunpoint & Arrested After Buying New Home! (DETAILS)

Not really what you expect when you a buy a new home...

Jean and Angelica Kalonji purchased their new home in Newton County, Georgia when they were welcomed with less than open arms. The couple were instructed by their real estate agent to go to the house and change the locks, but upon entering the house, their new neighbors arrived, armed with guns, assuming they were attempting to rob the property.

The neighbors ordered them to stick their hands up and Angelica and Jean ended up spending the night in jail after the police were called and the they could not produce their closing papers for the sale.

The couple was arrested and taken away in a patrol car by Newton County Shefiff deputies and Angelica and Jean were charged with loitering and prowling.

The dispute was cleared up in the morning, but it doesn't take away from the traumatic event. 

Sadly for Jean the experience brought back bitter memories of times growing up in war-torn Congo where he was regulalry threatened with guns.

'There, they put me down with the gun to my head, and come here, the same,' said Jean.

The Newton County Sheriff's office have begun to examine the circumstances surrounding the arrest.
