Academy Award nominated actress Anne Hathaway took to the streets like any other Occupy Wall Street protester in New York City yesterday, carrying a sign reading 'Blackboards not Bullets' and 'Blackboards not Banks.'
The Princess Diaries star protested at Union Square for the OWS campaign with her boyfriend Adam Shulman. She then proceeded to march down the street along with the other protesters.
Hathaway wasn’t the only celebrity Occupying Wall Street yesterday, film director Michael Moore and hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons were also among the many demonstrating.
Yesterday was the two month anniversary of the Occupy Wall Street movement. Thousands of protesters took to the streets and marched on the New York Stock Exchange to raise their voices and let the people of America know that they won’t stand for corporate greed.
