We Pray! Father-To-Be Clings To Life After Aurora Shooting While Wife Goes Into Labor (DETAILS)

Mother-to-be Katie Medley, 21, has gone into labor as her husband fights for life after being shot in Friday's Aurora shooting massacre.

Medley was scheduled to deliver their first baby; a boy already named Hugo, on Monday and went into labor without her husband by her side.

According to the Denver Post, Medley was unhurt in suspected gunman James Homes' fatal rampage at the Century 16 movie theatre, while 23-year-old Caleb was shot in the head.

The aspiring comic and his wife had set up their last date before becoming parents, a midnight showing of the new Batman movie.

But it ended in sorrow for the expectant parents.

Yesterday, Caleb laid in critical condition at University of Colorado Hospital, while Katie was delivering their son.

She had changed the delivery location so she could be close to him.

As of Monday night the baby hadn't arrived.

Friends have set up a website, calebmedley.com, help to raise money and seek prayers for the couple, who don't have health insurance. So far, they've raised about $15,000.
