NBA fans will get a triple treat on Christmas Day! Three games are scheduled to officially open up the NBA basketball season.
After a 149-day lockout, the players and owners reached an agreement to start the season on December 25th. The league plans on a 66-game season and aims to open training camps Dec. 9th.
The league will extend its regular season from mid-April to early May, while the NBA Finals will end a week later, most likely in late June.
With the technicalities still to be worked out, fans across the world are still excited to see their favorite players doing what they do best - ball out!
So what can we expect in this 66 game season?
For one thing, another media circus in Miami with LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. In the reality sphere, we have to find out, will Kris Humpries, formerly Mr. Kardashian, be picked up by an NBA team?
