The bath salts have struck again!

A British woman named Sarah Forsyth, who was recently married, has been found dead after taking the bath salts drug in order to lose weight.

According to the Daily Mail, Sarah used the drug as an intensive diet routine just weeks after getting married to her husband Jim.

Even though the drugs helps her to lose the weight like she had hoped, dropping from a size 16 to a size 6, her family told the drugs turned her into a “paranoid, aggressive agoraphobic insomniac”.

They told the site:

‘I honestly don’t think Sarah had a clue what she was getting herself into when she bought it,’ says Margaret, 60. ‘To my knowledge, she had never been a drug user. ‘As far as I knew, she just wanted something to help her lose a few pounds and, stupidly perhaps, she got this stuff she’d seen on the internet.

‘It got hold of her so quickly. She was in its grip. When Sarah first fell into a coma even her doctors had never heard of the stuff.
The family of Sarah is hopeful that the case of their daughter can be a lesson to those seeking to use the dangerous drug:

This stuff comes with no warning, no ingredients list, no dosage advice. It’s legal and it’s advertised as all sorts of things, from plant food, to bath salts. The truth is, it’s a dangerous drug. It destroyed our beautiful daughter.

We send our condolences to the family of Sarah, and pray that this drug use can come to an end soon.
