UPDATE: 3:30 PM EST

Dzhokar Tsarnaev pleaded not guilty to the 30 counts against him during his hearing today, which is the first time he’s been seen since the Boston Marathon bombings.

Those present in the court said the suspect’s hair was long and unkempt, and that he looked uninterested in the court proceedings.

Prosecutors in the Boston Marathon bombing case say they will call 80-100 witnesses and trial will last three to four months.

According to SeanKellyTV, the suspect blew a kiss to his family after entering a not guilty plea. He didn’t look at any of the victims.
