UPDATE: Wednesday, May 29 – 5:18 PM EST

Want to know how much money teen rapper Chief Keef was holding on him when he got arrested yesterday?

According to TMZ, he had about $8,000 rolled up in his pockets when police pulled him over.

Cops proceeded to put Keef in handcuffs and conducted a search. They found a bulge in his front left vest pocket — which turned out to be a “large roll of dollar bills” … $8,000 to be exact.

Cops say they informed Keef the money would not be removed from his pocket during the arrest.

What the hell!? He’s due back in court on June 17th. No word on what happens to his pocket full of money now.

Our boy Chief Keef needs to get it together. The 17-year-old Chicago rapper was arrested yesterday for the second time in seven days, when cops in Illinois pulled him over for driving 110 mph in a 55 mph zone.

TMZ reports:

Law enforcement says … cops spotted Keef’s 2011 BMW X6 M flying down Winnetka Road in Northfield, IL around 3:45 AM.

When cops pulled the car over … Keef was in the driver’s seat with 3 passengers — big problem, since Keef only has a permit which allows him to have ONE passenger.

After Keef was taken into custody, the BMW was released to one of the passengers … who left the scene with the vehicle.

Keef was cited for speeding and having too many people in the car. He’s due back in court on June 17.

The arrest comes exactly ONE WEEK after he was busted in Georgia for smoking weed at an Atlanta-area hotel.
