Chris Brown is scratching his head today, trying to figure out why he's implicated in a $16 million lawsuit brought on by the owners of W.i.P and Greenhouse for allegedly instigating the bottle-throwing brawl between his crew and Drake’s at the popular NYC hotspot.

According to Breezy's lawyers, it’s all B.S.

As reported by TMZ:

As we previously reported ... both Drake and Brown have been sued by a company affiliated with the venue ... who claim the celebs ordered their goons to go to war because of their beef over Rihanna.

TMZ spoke with a rep for Brown ... who spoke with Mark Geragos (Chris Brown’s lawyer) ... who says, "It's a frivolous lawsuit."

The lawsuit does seem frivolous, however if it weren't for Chris' and Drake's crews, a brawl probably wouldn't have broken out.
