Oh No! Chuck Brown, Godfather Of Go-Go, Dead At 75 (DETAILS)

The "Godfather of Go-Go," Chuck Brown passed away Wednesday, his daughter has confirmed.

Last week it was announced that Brown had been hospitalized with pneumonia. According to a family member who spoke to the Washington Post, Brown contracted the ailment after an operation to remove a blood clot from his body.

Brown's 1970 hit, "Bustin' Loose," hit #1 on the MCA charts. The song was later sampled in the 2002 Nelly song, "Hot in Herre."
