First, it was the one ton giant crocodile captured in the Philippines and now, a Florida teen has just snatched up a 12 foot long monster alligator!

The teenager landed the catch of a lifetime when he reeled in the 800lb angry beast with only his fishing rod.

The 19-year-old battled to haul in the 12ft long monster, first with his skinny bass rod and then with his arms and legs, while out gator hunting with his parents Steven and Rachel and a family friend.

Despite it weighing five times as much as the 160lb student, he managed to tape shut the predator's 28 inch long jaws and took his trophy home!
