And the search continues.
Authorities are searching for four people, two of them children under the age of eight, who have gone missing off the coast of San Francisco. The boat was about 65 miles off the coast of Pillar Point when someone on board called into the Coast Guard to report that their boat had taken on water and the electronics were failing.
A hour went by and the occupants called the Coast Guard back to reveal they would have to abandon the ship. Communication has been lost ever since.
A Coast Guard reportedly suggested, "The crew might have boarded the life raft."
Numerous aircrafts and boats have joined forces in hopes of quickly and safely returning the four boaters to their loved ones. Both the search party and the missing remain in our prayers.
