In his first media interview since his arrest for murdering Trayvon Martin, George Zimmerman issued an apology to the Martin family but insisted what happened was "God's plan."

Last night, a new video from the FOX news interview has emerged from the unaired segment and Zimmerman make an attempt to identify with Trayvon.
When asked how he agrees with Geraldo Rivera's statement of kids endangering themselves by wearing hoodies, George proclaims with a smile:
"No, I wear hoodies"
Zimmerman also spoke about his involvment with mentoring children. When asked how he felt when police questioned him on murdering a child, Zimmerman says he took it hard because him along with his wife, mentor young kids much like Trayvon.

He tells Fox's Sean Hannity:
"The young man that I mentor is very close in age to Trayvon. I thought of him in Trayvon's shoes and it broke my heart."
Despite the sympathy directed to the parents, Zimmerman still appeared very calm regarding his actions.
