The George Zimmerman legal defense fund has released a statement regarding the distribution of gun range targets depicting a hoodie with Skittles and Ice Tea in the pockets being sold online.

We have had numerous media requests asking us to respond to reports that an unidentified person has produced a gun range target meant to represent Trayvon Martin.

We feel we must go on record as stating that we unequivocally find this appalling and disgusting in every regard. It is an insult to the Martin family, it inflames the already heated social tension surrounding the George Zimmerman case, and it represents an irresponsible approach to gun ownership. It is this type of hatred that will make it more difficult to try this case.

Not only is it disgusting to the Martin Family but also horrible in nature as the vender admitted he was doing it to get paid off the shooting.
