The case of George Zimmerman continues and a date has been decided upon! An order of the docket sounding has made public for early October.

STORY: Hell No! Zimmerman's Request For New Judge Denied

A docket sounding is when the court decides and schedules a trial date. The order states: 

"Docket sounding will continue on October 3, 2012 at 8:30am in courtroom #5D before Judge Kenneth Lester Jr. at the Criminal Justice building in Sanford, FL"

The order was signed today by Judge Lester.

As for Zimmerman, he remains free on bail and is currently in hiding awaiting his second-degree murder charges for the killing of Trayvon Martin on February 26th.
