Jerry Sandusky, the disgraced former defensive coach for Penn State who is facing 40 counts of sexually abusing children over the course of 15 years, has two new sexual abuse cases against him and now it is being revealed that one of the victims is in his immediate family.
According to Penn Live, who spoke with attorney Joe Amendola, he said-
The allegations stem from difficulties within the child's immediate family. He said the assault is alleged to have occurred prior to Sandusky's arrest earlier this month, but was not brought to the authorities attention until after the former Penn State coach was charged.
For now the victim's identity is being witheld. Children and Youth Services confirmed that the new victim is a minor. These allegations are the first brought against Sandusky by victims who are still minors.
Sandusky is currently free on $100,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court next month.
