Mama Said Knock You Out! LL Cool J Stops Robber In His Home (DETAILS)

More info has come in about LL Cool J's home intrusion bust. It was revealed that LL broke the man's nose and jaw. 

Law enforcement sources tell us ... the suspect is currently hospitalized and being treated for his injuries. Officials believe the man may suffer from mental issues.

Don't mess with LL Cool J! The hip-hop legend stopped some dude from robbing his home and took him down with his bare hands early this morning.

As reported by TMZ:

According to law enforcement sources ... the suspect entered LL's Los Angeles area house around 2AM, but unfortunately for him the actor/rapper/badass was home. 

We're told LL heard some commotion downstairs, went to check it out ... and found the intruder.

Sources say the "NCIS Los Angeles" star -- who is a physical beast -- went hand-to-hand combat on the dude ... and managed to detain the suspect until LAPD officers arrived a few minutes later to arrest him.

LL is doing just fine today after the scare.
