Attention: there is NO such thing as the virus known as the LQP-79, which causes “zombie-like” cannibalistic behaviors in humans.
After Rudy Eugene was shot and killed by Miami police when they found him feasting on 65-year-old homeless drifter Ronald Poppo, an internet rumor began to circulate, saying that the virus LQP-79 was responsible for Eugene’s cannibal behavior.
The faux virus was being described in numerous articles as "destroying internal organs" and "makes the body crave human flesh."
It’s all false and now there are hundreds of thousands of people who are calling for the government to fund a program to find a vaccine for the virus.
The fact of the matter is, Eugene was just really high on bath salts, or some other form of the drug. There is no “Zombie Apocalypse” and no one is going to break into your home and eat your brain.
The internet can turn a society into a bunch of gullible foes!
