A man in Utah is taking his right to bear arms a little too literal.

The man, who is unidentified, was photographed by a customer at a JCPenney department store carrying an AR-15 strapped to his back.

Cindy Yorgason wasn’t sure what to do with the photo once she took it, but she knew that the sight was a little strange and definitely dangerous. She posted it on her Facebook page and the picture garnered over 100 comments, most of which thought that the man was in the wrong.

“He had the AR swung over his shoulder. He had a hand gun in a holster on his right hip, and he had extra clips on his belt as well,” Yorgason said.

Other customers were pointing and making all sorts of faces in reaction to the gunman. “It was just something you don’t see everyday and I wanted to catch it and be able to share it with other people,” Yorgason said.

The photo was fittingly taken after President Obama announced his comprehensive plan plus 23 executive orders to curb gun violence in America.

Turns out it’s legal to openly carry a gun in Utah, but it must be unloaded.

Chances are the man was a pro-gun advocate. Or he forgot the gun was on his back. We’re going with the first choice.
