The Thirst! Marco Rubio Awkwardly Grabs Bottle Of Water During SOTU Rebuttal (VIDEO)

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) has a drinking problem.

Well, really, he's just dehydrated. Or so he says. During his highly-anticipated rebuttal against President Barack Obama's State of the Union Address last night, Rubio paused mid-speech to reach off camera for a bottle of Poland Springs water.

If that wasn't awkward enough, the Senator's eyes darted from camera to water bottle, creating a buzz (and countless hilarious memes) on social media.

“I needed water, what am I going to do?” Rubio said laughing on ABC’s Good Morning America on Wednesday. “God has a funny way of reminding us we’re human.”

We get it, you were thirsty, but you were also giving one of the most important speeches of your career thus far. Cotton-mouth Rubio could have waited five minutes until he was off camera...or took a sip from an actual glass of water.

But what's done is done...plus the "maybe if I move fast enough they won't see me" look on his face was PRICELESS!

If that wasn't enough, Rubio's dry mouth noises made it impossibe to focus on much else. Warning: this is the most annoying noise on the planet.
