MC Hammer was arrested in Northern California this past week for obstructing a police officer, which led to him stringing off a series of tweets on the matter.
The "U Can't Touch This" rapper got upset after the police officer asked him whether he was on parole or probation before pulling him out of his vehicle.
According to CNN, the Dublin police say that Hammer, who's real name is Stanley Kirk Burrell, was driving a vehicle with an expired registration, and he wasn't the owner.
This led to MC Hammer's tweets, protesting the arrest:
It looks like there was a misunderstanding here, so we hope everything gets cleared up soon.
