As reported by RapFix:
According to the Philadelphia Police Department, the MMG rookie sensation was detained by Philadelphia Police after he was in a vehicle stopped by officers at 1100 W. Girard Avenue last night around 8 p.m.
“He was not arrested,” said Philadelphia Police spokeswoman Julian Russell. “He was stopped in a vehicle but was not arrested. He was only detained in a substation. In normal cases, we do not give out this kind of information, so I can’t release anything further.”
Meek is slated to make a monster debut on the Billboard charts, despite the impact of Hurricane Sandy.
