Hollaaaa! Miss New York Takes The Miss America Crown (PHOTOS)

Another beautiful woman has been crowned Miss America, and this time she hails from the great city of New York!

Mallory Hagan, a beauty queen from Brooklyn, won the national title last night and tap danced her way to earn the crown.

Before blowing the crowd away with her tap routine to James Brown's "Get Up Off Of That Thing", Mallory introduced herself for the pageant:

"Sandy may have swept away our shores, but never our spirit. I’m Miss New York, Mallory Hagan."Most importantly, she answered a question about having armed guards at schools after the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting saying that we should not fight violence with violence.

Mallory also plans to spend her title reign on a nationwide speaking tour in order to raise money for the Children's Miracle Network.

The blonde beauty wins a $50,000 college scholarship and gets the crown for one year. Her platform was stopping child sexual abuse.We're proud of Mallory Hagan and can't wait to see what she does with her Miss America title!
