Thankfully, 20-year-old Blaec Lammers was taken into custody before he could execute his plan to shoot up a movie theater and a Walmart store in Missouri on Sunday!
Lammers' Twilight screening and a Missouri Walmart. However, his mother turned him in, telling police that her son bought weapons that were similar to the ones James Holmes used to shoot up a theater in Colorado over the summer.
According to court documents:
"His mother further stated that, with the opening of the new Twilight movie, she was concerned that Blaec Lammers may have intentions of shooting people at the movie."
Once in custody, Lammers admitted that he planned to kill people at a theater in Bolivar, in addition to a Walmart in case he needed access to more ammunition.
Lammers is currently being held on a $500,000 bond and was charged on Friday with first-degree assault, making a terroristic threat and armed criminal action.
