Looks like Mitt Romney is hanging with some anti-Muslim bosses who hold staunchly social conservative views. Not only that, but Mitt's reportedly become chummy with a leading figure in the anti-Muslim movement.
According to Politico:
Romney took time on Thursday during a trip to Denver to meet with a group of well-known social conservatives, including Gary Bauer, James Dobson and others.
The group assured Romney they are firmly behind him, according to a source familiar with the conservation.
The meeting took place roughly two weeks after a group of social conservatives, including Family Research Council head Tony Perkins, urged Romney to pick a running mate who's staunchly anti-abortion.
But it doesn’t end there. According to Rightwingwatch.org, Bauer, Dobson and Perkins wrote Speaker of the House John Boehner and expressed to them how Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann should be praised for her efforts against Muslim-Americans in the federal government.
In a separate letter, Jerry Boykin, the Executive Vice President of the Family Research Council and one of the leading forces in getting Muslims out of America, expressed:
"Strong support for congressional efforts to illuminate and address the danger posed by influence operations mounted by the Muslim Brotherhood against government agencies.” He also claimed that “Huma [Abedin] is not the only person who has penetrated our government” and wondered aloud if President Obama is a Muslim Brotherhood member.”
Are these really the people Mitt Romney is associating himself with? First it was his taxes, now he’s palling around with anti-Muslim figures.
