Today on Fox News, Mitt Romney sat down with Neil Cavuto to address the comments he made during a private fundraiser with wealthy donors.

A secret video was recorded and released via Mother Jones, which shows the money man dismissing half of the nation as freeloaders who are dependent on the government and don't pay taxes.

Speaking with Cavuto, Romney defended his crude comments, saying that he was specifically referring to hardcore Obama supporters that he does not expect to reach in the upcoming election.

When asked if 47 percent of the Americans not paying taxes is too high of a number, Romney responded by saying yes, and that there should be enough jobs and take home pay for Americans so that they can pay income tax.

Speaking with a much more sensitive tone compared to the disdainful demeanor he expressed in the leaked video, Romney said he thinks that "people would like to be paying taxes."
