DETAILS: PRAYERS! Four People Missing Off The Coast Of San Francisco
Terrilynn Monette, a second grade teacher in New Orleans disappeared on March 2. The dedicated teacher went missing after a night out on the town where she was celebrating her Teacher of the Year nomination with a few acquaintances.
Monette uprooted her life in California a few years ago to move to New Orleans to join teachers in the effort to educate children in impoverished areas with the “teachNOLA” program. In a 2011 video, she explained her excitement to be joining the program to educate those who need her most.
According to bar manager Anna Boudousque, the bartender had to “cut off” Monette because the bartender felt she was too intoxicated and should no longer be served.
Refusing to drink and drive, Monette allegedly vowed to spend the night in her car to sleep off her drunken state in her 2012 black two-door Honda Accord. She was last seen speaking to an unidentified man in the parking lot at 4AM.
Authorities have interviewed the unidentified man and are not considering him as a suspect in Monette’s disappearance.

On Wednesday, search workers found a vehicle in nearby waters but after careful inspection, it was revealed that the car did not belong to the missing teacher.
Monette is described as an African-American female, approximately 5’8”, 180 pounds with a light complexion and long brown hair. The license plate on her 2012 two-door Honda Accord reads WUN494.
